Easter Egg Hunt
We attended the Easter egg hunt at our church on Saturday. Tyler and Sarah picked out special Easter baskets to take in order to collect the most possible eggs. They were poised and ready to “hunt” for the eggs. Sarah’s group was first and she quickly filled her basket with all kinds of pretty eggs.
Here she is showing Tyler her loot and getting a lesson in how to open the eggs the fastest. He was impressed with her egg hunting ability. Now we were ready for Tyler’s hunt. He planned out the best place to start with the least amount of children, the most egg capturing potential and the biggest eggs. Here is Tyler:
When we were finished with the hunt and walking back to the car we asked Tyler and Sarah what they thought. Sarah loved it and expressed that by all of the chocolate and other candy crammed into her mouth. Tyler said that he was disappointed. When we asked why, he told us that it was not a “hunt” and they should call it an Easter egg pick-up next year. Apparently, when he says “hunt” he means he wants a hunt. Maybe next time!
